Elinor Ostrom PhD Award 2024 for Nawel Sidi Ali Cherif
On 3 December 2024, Nawel Sidi Ali Cherif, Senior Lecturer at Toulouse School of Management, and Pauline Colin, Senior Lecturer at the University of Strasbourg, were awarded the 2024 Elinor Ostrom International PhD Prize by the scientific committee.
This prestigious award recognises innovative work in management sciences, acknowledged not only for its academic excellence but also for its relevance in the study of institutional developments.
This distinction highlights the scientific rigour and the demanding research environment offered by TSM and its research centre, TSM-Research.
Sophie Moinas Appointed Senior Member of the Institut Universitaire de France
On 15 May 2025, Sophie Moinas, Professor of Finance at TSM, member of both Toulouse School of Economics Research (TSE-R) and TSM-Research (TSM-R), along with Emmanuelle Auriol, Professor of Economics and TSE-R member, were appointed Senior Members of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF) for a five-year term beginning 1 October 2025.
This prestigious appointment rewards the excellence of their research, recognised both nationally and internationally.
The IUF’s mission is to promote high-level research within French universities. It values scientific excellence, supports gender balance in research, and fosters a more even distribution of scientific activity across the country.
AIMS 2025 Award for Best Managerial Contribution
At the 34th annual conference of the International Association for Strategic Management (AIMS) in June 2025, Christelle Théron and Stéphan Pezé, faculty members at TSM, received the award for Best Managerial Contribution. Their paper, recognised for its originality and relevance, illustrates the School’s ability to produce impactful research connected to contemporary strategic challenges.
Best Paper Award at the CSEAR France Conference
At the 8th edition of the CSEAR France conference (Centre for Social and Environmental Accounting Research), a leading academic event in the field of social and environmental accounting, Jennifer Boutant Lapeyre and Isabelle Martinez, researchers at TSM and TSM-R, along with Mahsa Ghorbanijazin, PhD student at TSM-DP, received the Best Paper Award for their work on double materiality in European sustainability reporting standards.

Audrey Rouziès Awarded the Order of the Palmes Académiques
In December, Audrey Rouziès, faculty member at TSM and Director of the TSM Doctoral Programme, was appointed Chevalier of the Ordre des Palmes Académiques.
This honour, conferred by the Ministry of National Education and presented in person by Professor Hervé Penan, Director of TSM, recognises her unwavering commitment to higher education, both academically and pedagogically.
2024 Teaching Excellence Award for Cédric Palluel
On 19 September 2024, Cédric Palluel, Senior Lecturer at TSM, was awarded third prize in the 2024 Teaching Excellence Awards by Eduniversal during its 15th edition in Paris. This accolade celebrates the most highly regarded lecturers, as recognised by their students, for the quality of their support, teaching, and engagement in academic life.
Growing International Recognition for TSM Master in Finance
TSM Master Finance Ranked by the Financial Times
On 16 June 2025, the Master Finance at TSM was ranked for the second year running in the “Masters in Finance pre-experience” du Financial Times global ranking, reaching 45th place worldwide.
This achievement confirms the programme’s dynamism and appeal while enhancing its global visibility.
