The academic year is divided into two semesters: the first semester runs from September to December, and the second semester from January to July. There is only one start date per year, in September (not January).

Toulouse School of Management does not offer scholarships, however international students may be eligible for tuition fee exemptions.

The CVEC is the Student and Campus Life Contribution. It is mandatory for all students, except for specific cases, who are pursuing a full-time programme in a higher education institution.
The certificate of payment of the Student and Campus Life Contribution will then allow you to validate your registration within your institution.
Opening a bank account in France allows you to pay your bills in France, subscribe to a French telephone service, have your health expenses reimbursed or receive a salary if you have a work permit during your stay in France.
Any foreign student living in France has the right to have a French bank account. To do so, simply go to the bank branch of your choice and make an appointment with an advisor. Before selecting your future bank, it is recommended to study the advantages and disadvantages of each agency. Indeed, the cost of a bank card, an international transfer, or cash withdrawal from an ATM may vary from one bank to another.
Note that it is essential to have an identity document, proof of residence and a certificate of schooling to open a bank account. If you do not have an accommodation yet, some banks accept the address of the international relations department of the school where you are studying.

If you do not have a payment card when validating your visa, you can also buy an electronic stamp with cash at a tobacco shop.
European students who already have a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) do not need to register for social security. They can use their EHIC card to receive medical care in France.
Non-European students must register with the general French social security system in order to receive reimbursement for their health expenses. Registration for social security can be done directly online.
If you are in France for several years of studies with a long-stay visa, you will be given a card called a "carte vitale", which will allow reimbursement of your healthcare expenses.

International students can be paired with a mentor to help them settle into university life. These ‘buddies’ are students who have been at UT Capitole for at least one year and can answer new students' questions on a range of topics related to courses, student life, administrative procedures, etc.
Once admitted at TSM, international students will be offered the opportunity to register for the mentoring programme before the start of the academic year.
French as a Foreign Language (FLE) courses are offered each semester at the university to international students upon registration.
Most classes are held on TSM campus in the Parc des Anciennes Facultés. Classes may also be held (nearby) in the Arsenal or Manufacture des Tabacs buildings. There are also other libraries and activity areas.

To get around Toulouse and the surrounding area, there are numerous bus and metro lines operated by Tisséo, the public transport authority for the Toulouse metropolitan area.
Tisséo also offers a self-service bicycle hire scheme called vélôToulouse.
Students have access to university restaurants (Resto’U) and cafeterias at all universities in Toulouse, allowing them to enjoy meals at affordable prices.
Student life at TSM is enriched by seven student associations. You can join one of them to get involved in projects that motivate you and/or enjoy the student parties organised.
The International Department of the TSM Student Union is responsible for helping international students integrate at the start of the academic year.
Many sports activities are available to students through the Department of Physical and Sporting Activities (DAPS).
