The Eiffel Scholarship Programme is a tool developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to enable French higher education institutions to attract the best foreign students to master's and doctoral degree programmes. It enables the training of future foreign decision-makers in the private and public sectors in priority fields of study.
The Eiffel Scholarship: a scholarship of excellence for whom?
Offered by Campus France, the Eiffel programme provides scholarships to outstanding international students who wish to study in France for a Master's or Doctorate degree.
This financial aid offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is intended for candidates:
- aged 29, i.e. born after 31 March 1996, for a Master's degree (Master's 1 or Master's 2), including candidates for an MSc;
- aged 35, i.e. born after 31 March 1990, for a PhD,
- based on criteria of excellence.
- French students with dual nationality are not eligible for the Eiffel Scholarship.
- Applicants already enrolled at TSM, or more generally enrolled in the French education system, are not eligible for the Eiffel Scholarship.
- For the 2026–2027 academic year, TSM will only accept applications at Master's level (not PhD level).

The advantages of the Eiffel scholarship
The Eiffel Scholarship amounts to 1200€ per month for a Master's degree,
It covers also:
- return travel from your country of origin,
- health expenses,
- your cultural activities.
Apply for the Eiffel Scholarship at TSM

Applications for the 2026-2027 Eiffel Scholarship with TSM are open from October 27 to November 17, 2025.
No applications will be accepted after 17 November 2025!
The deadline of 8 January 2026 indicated on the Campus France website applies to universities and not to students.
Step by step process to apply for the Eiffel Scholarship:
- First, apply on the TSM eCandidatures online platform before November 17, 2025.
- In December 2025, TSM will review your application and let you know if your application has been preselected or not.
- If your application has been preselected by TSM, we will communicate with Campus France in January 2026. Note that you cannot apply directly on Campus France.
- Campus France reviews all preselected applications from all higher education institutions in France.
- Starting April 2026, awardees will receive their results from Campus France. If your application has not been approved by Campus France, TSM will let you know at that time.
