From Wednesday 26 August to Friday 28 August 2026, the campus of TSM – Toulouse School of Management, part of Université Toulouse Capitole, was buzzing with the excitement of Welcome Week. Held every year, this pre-term event gave full-time students the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in school life through a wide range of activities and social moments!
Three days before the start of term to discover TSM and build connections
Welcome Week at TSM is a pre-term event during which students are welcomed by TSM’s Dean, as well as by their Programme Head and Administrative Officer, who outline the year ahead and answer any questions they may have before the academic year begins.
Above all, however, it is an opportunity to meet fellow students from their cohort and get to know one another in a relaxed setting before classes officially begin!
To make the transition even easier and encourage students to meet one another, TSM once again organised a range of fun activities and workshops this year, designed to foster connections and strengthen group cohesion.
Our students were able to take part in:
- Group team-building challenges organised by the Students’ Union (BDE),
- A fun, interactive workshop on artificial intelligence led by the association Latitudes,
- A quiz inspired by popular television game shows, showcasing local specialities and featuring plenty of tastings, organised by the company Fantastiko!
A few additional surprises were also in store, including the Roulotte Coffee, a mobile coffee service offering refreshing drinks, as well as a rolled ice cream stand which, in addition to serving delicious ice cream, helped students and staff cool down during the hot Thursday!
All these activities gave the new students the opportunity to discover TSM’s culture and values, learn more about the school’s history and build connections with one another, helping them to start the academic year with greater confidence.
Welcome Week: an opportunity to meet all seven of TSM’s student associations
Welcome Week was also an opportunity to discover TSM’s seven student associations. They brought the campus to life and provided students with information about their activities, making this pre-term event a time full of sharing and discovery. Students were able to meet members of each association:
- BDE (Students’ Union)
- BDS (Sports Association)
- TSM Consulting, TSM’s Junior Enterprise
- Finaccount, TSM’s association dedicated to making finance and accounting more accessible
- Genius TSM, TSM’s entrepreneurship association
- Ecolibris TSM, the association dedicated to CSR and sustainable development
- ACEDEG, the association for law and management students
Throughout the three days, the associations brought the campus to life and helped inform the new students, contributing to the unique atmosphere of Welcome Week.

Upcoming events not to be missed!
Following this successful Welcome Week, TSM is preparing to welcome its Doctoral Programme students on 7 September 2026, followed by its Work-study programme students during the Welcome Day, scheduled for 2 October 2026!
