TSM – Toulouse School of Management is organising a solidarity donation campaign on its campus as sponsor of the Sirocco Toulousain team, made up of a TSM student and his teammate, who will be taking part in the 2026 edition of the 4L Trophy.
Students, staff and members of the general public are invited to take part in this humanitarian initiative by contributing during the collection days held on campus.
Paul Vidal, a TSM student, takes on the 4L Trophy challenge with his teammate!
Paul Vidal, a second-year Master’s 2 student in Management Control and Organisational, track Audit and piloting organisation, at Toulouse School of Management, and Lilian Tachon, a recent graduate, form the Sirocco Toulousain team for the 2026 4L Trophy. They share their enthusiasm for joining this adventure:
It is with immense joy and great excitement that we have committed ourselves to this legendary race, the 4L Trophy. This human and solidarity-based adventure will undoubtedly be a memorable experience, both for the challenges it brings and for the values of sharing and mutual support that it represents.
As part of this project, TSM supports and sponsors the team and their Renault 4L, reaffirming its commitment to responsible and solidarity-driven student initiatives.

The 4L Trophy: a student rally with a humanitarian mission
The 4L Trophy is a humanitarian rally open to students and young professionals aged 18 to 28. Participants travel from Biarritz to Marrakech, crossing remote areas of the Moroccan desert to deliver humanitarian donations to schools and villages, guided only by a roadbook and a compass!
The rally takes place every year during the last week of February and has done so for 28 years. Each edition sees over 1,100 Renault 4Ls and 2,200 drivers set off on the 6,000 km route, their cars packed with donations.
This year, the 4L Trophy will run from 18 February to 1 March 2026, a total of 12 days of rallying.
4L Trophy: an event committed to solidarity organisations
The 4L Trophy also works alongside numerous solidarity organisations supporting humanitarian and environmental causes, including:
-
French Red Cross: 22,700 meals distributed in 2025 thanks to participants’ donations
-
Enfants du Désert: over 20,000 children benefiting from school and sports equipment
-
Surfrider Foundation Morocco: 2,400 participants sensitised each year to environmental protection
-
Cap Eco Solidaire: construction of a water tower in 2025 with Living Planet Morocco
-
Eco-citizenship: 3,117 cigarette butts recycled
Carbon offsetting and environmental responsibility during the race
Aware of the rally’s environmental impact, the Sirocco Toulousain team has chosen to adopt a carbon-offsetting approach.
Part of the sponsorship funds is donated to the GoodPlanet Foundation, also a partner of the 4L Trophy, which carries out concrete awareness-raising and field actions to offset greenhouse gas emissions.
In addition, the association La Brigade Verte, present at the rally since 2020, supports participants in adopting eco-responsible practices to reduce the environmental impact of the race.
TSM fully embraces this approach by dedicating part of its financial support to these carbon compensation initiatives.
We look forward to seeing many of you during these donation days and greatly appreciate your support!
