The TAGE 2 and TAGE MAGE tests, nationally recognised aptitude assessments for management and business studies, will serve as additional selection criteria. TAGE 2: Mandatory for Bachelor 3 Applications at TSM
The TAGE 2 test assesses key skills required for business and management studies through a multiple-choice questionnaire (MCQ). It evaluates three key aptitude categories:
- Verbal skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Logical reasoning skills
Who Needs to Take the TAGE 2?
The TAGE 2 is required for students applying to Bachelor 3 programmes from September 2025 onwards, except for candidates in the following circumstances during the 2024-2025 academic year:
- Candidates in work-study or continuing education programmes,
- Candidates residing outside France,
- Candidates already enrolled at TSM,
- Candidates enrolled at TSE (Toulouse School of Economics),
- Candidates in the Bachelor 2 (L2) Law and Management programme at TSM/UT Capitole,
- Candidates in the Bachelor 2 (L2) Digital and Management programme at TSM/UT Capitole,
- Candidates in the BUT GEA at IUT de Rodez.
Where to Take the TAGE 2 for TSM Admission?
To simplify the process, TSM will host an on-campus TAGE 2 session:
- Date: Saturday, 1 March 2025 (morning)
- Location: Campus des Anciennes Facultés, TSM, Toulouse
- Format: MCQ with 70 questions across 6 sections, duration: 1 hour 55 minutes

The TAGE MAGE: A Mandatory Test for Applying to Master 1 at TSM
The TAGE MAGE is a crucial aptitude test for candidates applying to management and business administration Master's programmes, assessing essential skills:
- Verbal reasoning skills
- Problem-solving abilities and handling numerical data
- Logical reasoning skills through two sections testing inferential, inductive, and deductive reasoning abilities
Who is concerned?
The TAGE MAGE is required for Master 1 admissions from September 2025 onwards, except for candidates in the following situations during the 2024-2025 academic year:
- Candidates on work-study programmes or in continuing education, except those applying for the first year of the M1 Human Resource Management programme.
- Candidates residing outside of France
- Candidates enrolled at TSM
- Candidates enrolled at TSE
- Candidates from institutions with a partnership with TSM

TSM organises a dedicated session for the TAGE MAGE test directly on the campus:
- Date: Saturday, 1st March 2025, afternoon
- Location: Campus des Anciennes Facultés, TSM, Toulouse
- Format: Multiple-choice test with 90 questions across 6 sections, duration: 2 hours
