Where and when should I submit my Student Social File?
You have until 31 May 2025 to submit your file. In some cases, this needs to be done even before your higher education application is confirmed. Make sure to complete it as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute issues!

What documents do I need to prepare for my Student Social File?
To complete your file successfully, you’ll need to gather several documents to support your application:
- Your parents’ tax notice
- Your bank account details (RIB)
- Documents outlining your personal situation

Applying for Student Housing with CROUS
May is also the time to apply for student accommodation through CROUS!
If you complete your Student Social File (DSE) before 31 May and want to benefit from university residence housing, don’t forget to check the box “I am applying for CROUS accommodation” when filling out your file.
Good news: if you are receiving a scholarship, you will have priority in the allocation of student housing.
Starting from 6 May, visit the CROUS website to apply for accommodation.
