Biography
Javier Sanz Espín is a second-year PhD student in Economics and Finance under a cotutelle agreement between Toulouse School of Management and the University of Navarra. His thesis supervisors are Matthieu Bouvard (TSM) and José Azar (University of Navarra). His research interests lie at the intersection of labor economics and corporate finance, focusing on how firms allocate labor and exert labor market power, including in the context of labor market reforms. He also studies how AI and work-from-home strategies are reshaping firms’ internal job structures, wage-setting, and financial policy.
