Biography
Julien Grobert is an Associate Professor in Marketing and is also the Associate Dean, Corporate Relations. He is also the Head of the work-study tracks of the Master in Marketing 1st year and Retailing and Distribution. Julien is also a member of the French Marketing Association and a reviewer for the Journal of Product and Brand Management.
His areas of research focus on sensory marketing and communication, including atmospheric factors (perfume and music) in service environments and logos. His work has been published in leading journals, such as Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Décisions Marketing, Creativity and Innovation Management, and Journal of Product and Brand Management. Julien also regularly shares his research with the press, thanks to interventions in various media (Les Echos, Le Monde TF1’s 8 o’clock news). He also collaborates with other research teams, notably HEC Montréal, and companies such as CapGemini as part of his scientific work.
Julien has held previously worked as a Research Assistant at Grenoble Ecole Management and completed a visiting at Penn State University. He obtained his PhD in 2014 from the University of Grenoble while on CIFRE contract with the Crédit Agricole group.
