The request for a gap year is made during the application campaign.

The gap year project is presented in the motivation letter, which is part of the application file for the desired programme.

The application file is reviewed by the relevant pedagogical commission of the programme concerned, which provides an opinion.

Conditions for the gap year

To be authorised to register for a gap year in year N+1:

• The gap year project must have received a favorable opinion from the pedagogical commission;
• The student must have successfully completed the N year;
• The student must have been accepted to enroll in the higher-level diploma for the N+1 year.
