The Management of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Companies track of the Management Master's programme provides students with the fundamentals and necessary tools to hold management positions in companies and groups within the health, socio-medical, and social fields. This programme places a heavy emphasis on mastering strategic and inter-organisational skills. 


This programme appears in the French national decree n°2007-221 published on February 19, 2007 which indicates the nationally approved social and healthcare company director training programmes. 



The teaching team is composed of teachers, researchers and professionals.


Length : 348 h
Schedule: Courses take place two days a week (Thursdays and Fridays) from October to September.

UE 05 - EHS Strategy and Management 
UE 06 - Diagnostic Organisation, Change Management, and Managerial Innovation
UE 07 - Professional assignment / Entrepreneurial project



The Master's degree GESS is available as a work-study programme (professional training contracts) and an executive education programme.



  • undergraduate degree and first year of a Master’s degree (240 ECTS)
  • CAFDES (French national degree, Certificat d’Aptitude aux Fonctions de Direction d’Etablissements Sociaux),
  • or VPE professionnal experience requirements

This programme prepares its participants for the following professions:

  • Director of an institution or company with more than 50 employees
  • Manager of medical, socio-medical, or social associations or groups 
  • Expert executive in social action concerning territorial collectivities or administrations
  • Administrative, financial, or HR department manager
