Strategic knowledge: At the end of this course, students will be able to explain the relevance of strategy, what it means to realize a strategic diagnosis and why it is useful for companies.

Strategic know-how: At the end of this course, students will be able to use theoretical knowledge, tools and concepts learnt in class to structure the external environment and internal capabilities of firms, and to find the opportunities and threats they face, and the strengths and weaknesses they have.

Active participation in the course should enable students to:

• Develop knowledge about the fields of management and organisational behaviour (OB).
• Gain experience in applying management and OB knowledge to issues relevant to business organisations and practicing managers.
• Gain experience in communicating their analyses, conclusions and recommendations in a professional manner.
• Develop the ability to critically analyse, assess, and deal with the managerial and organisational implications of OB issues at the individual, interpersonal/group, and organisational levels of analysis.
