Biography
Maysam is a Human Resources/Organizational Behavior PhD candidate at Toulouse School of Management (TSM). Her research is focused on the emotion of workplace gratitude and its effect on employee (un)ethical behavior. Her PhD follows the 3-paper format and the designs she incorporates include experiments and diary studies.
Maysam was a research assistant at Toulouse Business School's Social and Innovative Marketing Lab, where she reviewed literature, collected and analyzed data, and compiled articles and documents. She also participated in research sessions and welcomed visiting researchers.
In addition to her scientific work, Maysam co-founded and served as project manager for New Vision, a humanitarian organization that aids underprivileged communities. For eight years, she oversaw programs that promoted gender equality, child protection, food safety, and emergency relief. She also collaborated extensively with humanitarian organizations both nationally and internationally to enhance channels of communication and coordination.
Maysam's diversified background has given her a fresh perspective on where theory and practice meet, and she is committed to fostering collaboration between the two for the greater good of society.
