Naomi Delgado Drago : Summer school at TEC Monterrey, Mexico
- Why did you choose TEC Monterrey?
As a Bachelor 1 Management student, taking part in the Summer School in Mexico was much more than just an academic experience. During four weeks, I had the opportunity to explore four fascinating cities: Mexico City, Querétaro, Monterrey and Puebla. By visiting companies like PepsiCo, I was able to delve into the heart of world trade and understand real issues in an international setting.
- What did you learn from this experience?
This programme wasn't just about learning about business! I also discovered the cultural richness of Mexico by visiting emblematic places like the Frida Kahlo Museum and the archaeological area of Teotihuacan. These experiences allowed me to fully experience the local culture while broadening my open-mindedness. Thanks to this immersion, I not only improved my knowledge of management, but also gained confidence in my English skills. Interacting daily with students and professionals from all over the world made learning the language natural and motivating.
- What advice could you give to prospective students who would like to participate in a summer school?
If you want to combine learning, cultural adventure and personal development, going on a Summer School is a unique opportunity that I would recommend without hesitation!
