Biography
Patrick Dumas is a Teaching Fellow at TSM. He holds a DESCF and a Master degree in management sciences (with honours) obtained at IAE Poitiers. Before joining the accounting and control department at Toulouse School of Management in 2004, he held a position as a professor at the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences at Université de Poitiers for seven years. As part of his Master, the theme of his research was based on a critical study of historical dissemination of standard costs and budgetary control in North America and Europe.
He is currently in charge of the work-study programme Master in Management Control and Organisational Auditing track Audit and Management of Organisations. His areas of professional expertise include management control, corporate finance, and internal audit. He is involved in other masters programmes including accounting-control-audit, strategy, human resources.
He occasionally performs audit assignments for organisations.
