Biography

Silvia Rossetto is a Full Professor of Finance at Toulouse School of Management and Toulouse School of Economics (TSE). Silvia is also the Head of the Master in Finance (first year), a member of TSM-R, and a member of TSE-R.

Silvia’s research focuses on corporate governance, corporate finance and real options. Her work has been published in leading journals, such as Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Review of Financial Studies, Annals of Finance, Games and Economic Behavior, and Journal of Banking and Finance. Silvia also serves as a referee for Econometrica, Review of Economic Studies, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Banking and Finance, European Finance Review, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Applied Financial Economics, and Emerging Markets Finance and Trade. She is also a reviewer for EFMD Accreditations.

Silvia obtained her PhD in Economics from the University of Amsterdam in 2002. She has previously held Assistant and Associate Professor roles at Warwick Business School and visiting Professor stays at the London Business School, University of Mannheim, The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and HEC Paris. Prior to her career in academia, Silvia worked in R&D for Rolls Royce in Berlin.
