The Master 1 Strategic Management programme aims at educating young executives in general management approaches and methods and prepare them to take part in the decision-making and operational implementation activities within a company, be it a SME, firm, or large group.

In order to accomplish this, the programme provides fundamental managerial knowledge as well as insight to the main questions, tools, and methods linked to a company’s strategic choices. Students will be able to apply all this to real professional situations during their 3 month internships.

The programme’s pedagogical approach combines the contributions of researchers and professors, the realistic exercises proposed by business executives, and group work amongst students. Through this combination of contributions, students are able to acquire not only technical knowledge, but also soft-skills that are essential to young executives, analysis skills, and clear presentation skills.

At the end of the programme, students will be able to:

  • Prepare and document strategic decisions for a company
  • Implement a strategic diagnostic
  • Efficiently take part in the action plans and decision-making procedures of a company
  • Participate in the development and growth of a company
  • Structure, synthesise, and analyse data
  • Effectively communicate both orally and in writing
  • Participate constructively in a group setting
  • Participate in the realization of a business plan
