Why did you choose Toulouse?

Toulouse has always sparked interest in me since the first time I heard its nickname “The pink city”. It is a lovely city in the south of France where people are so friendly and kind-hearted. Toulouse is also considered as the city for students, the cost of living here is affordable and there are plenty of organisations that hold activities for students. It is definitely a place worth living and studying!

Why did you choose TSM?

TSM is a prestigious school that offers top-tier education. It has received several labels for the quality of teaching and required a significantly lower tuition fees compared to a private school. Also, TSM shows great support to international students, it is one of the few schools that has English courses and there are many activities organised for international students. When I first came here, I was warmly welcomed by those activities and that enabled me to integrate into the new environment quickly. TSM has had my heart since the very beginning!

Why did you choose this programme?

There are several reasons why I chose the Bachelor of Science in Global Management programme.

Firstly, I love that the programme balances management theory with essential soft skills. It doesn't just teach technical managerial methods but also focuses on international teamwork, communication, and ethical leadership for sustainability.

Secondly, the teaching style fits my learning personality perfectly. The use of flipped classrooms, project-based work, and experiential learning encourages personal autonomy. I prefer this hands-on experience over passive listening.

Finally, the programme offers incredible opportunities for diverse exposure. I am very excited about the possibility of doing an international internship or pursuing a double degree in Germany or Italy during my second and third years. This global perspective is exactly what I need to succeed in an international career.

What is your best memory of your life in France?

For me, the best memory lies in every small interactions with people here, from just a “bonjour” in the morning or a “bonne journée” by a stranger, to the instructions when I had difficulty in using the metro for the first time, an invitation to dinner when they knew I was alone at Christmas. All of those engraved in my heart and helped me overcome hard times.

Why would you recommend TSM to students from your home school

I would definitely recommend TSM because it offers the best of both worlds. You get to live in France and experience European culture, but you study entirely in English, so you don't have to worry about the language barrier holding you back academically. Also, TSM provides top-quality education and international opportunities - like the double degrees - at a public university price. It’s the perfect place to step out of your comfort zone without the heavy financial burden.
