Testimony : a TSM student at the Summer School in Belgium
“Brussels : dynamic, international city, brilliant nightlife!”
François-Olivier Vanderschueren, a second year Bachelor’s in management student at TSM, took part in the 2021 edition of the Solvay Summer School, hosted by the Solvay Business School in Brussels, Belgium. Back from this memorable experience, marked by encounters from all walks of life, he shares some of his impressions with us.
- Why did you choose the Solvay Business School?
I chose the Solvay Business School for the quality of its teaching and the reputation of its professors. Brussels is a dynamic, international city, and a key player at the very heart of Europe. And, the nightlife is brilliant!
- What did you get out of this experience?
Lectures were hugely enriching. The participation of business professionals especially helped me develop a different perspective. I met students from all over the world: Russians, Germans, Italians. Student parties were pleasant and were organised in a welcoming atmosphere. I was also able to improve my English, especially orally, with students of other nationalities. It was an unforgettable experience.
