New Master 2 in Retail Management
Are you interested in the retail sector? Do you want to become a store manager, sector manager, category manager, e-commerce manager? At the start of the 2020 academic year, TSM is launching its Master 2 in Retail Management. Applications are open until 31 May.
A Master Focused on Retail Marketing
The M2 in Retail Management aims to train marketing specialists in the physical and digital retail of consumer products. It also provides training in quality management, the development of the offer and the ability to analyse figures and make decisions.
This new work-study and executive education programme complements the M1 Retail Management, which opened in 2019, in partnership with B2M (Montauban Chamber of Commerce and Industry). It is aimed at those who wish to integrate the functions of department manager, store manager, sector manager or category manager.
Retail, A Fast-Changing Sector
These professions are evolving, hence the importance of this new training. The changes to come in the retail sector, both online and traditional, require the training of skilled managers to manage the transition in progress efficiently.
Retail has been undergoing profound changes in recent years, with an increased presence of digital technology, the phygitalisation of points of sale, the growth of online sales... The sector must therefore embark on a profound change and recruit new profiles.
Recently, Michel Edouard Leclerc declared that his brand wished to recruit new profiles who are more competent and expert in their fields and hopes to recruit 15,000 new employees within 5 years (interview, Journal du dimanche, February 8, 2020).
In the same way, the appearance of new formats or new players (Costco, Alibaba, Action...) proves that the consumption habits of the French are changing and that the brands must adapt.
TSM Expertise in the Field of Apprenticeship and Executive Education
The TSM Master's Degree, by involving distribution professionals and academics, offers the best possible training to work-study students, making them aware of the latest research carried out on the subject while training them on operational aspects.
Thanks to an alternating rhythm of 3 weeks in a company and 1 week at school, the M2 Retail Management closely combines field experience and the acquisition of fundamental knowledge and "business" know-how.
In addition, for several years now, thanks in part to the teaching methods used, TSM students from the Marketing department (to which the M2 Retail Management belongs) have won several challenges organized by major retailers (Décathlon, Auchan, etc.).
Come and join the Master's programme and get the best possible training in these new professions! Or trust us to train your employees in the best possible way!
