  • What is the Bachelor 3 QSE?

It is a TSM degree, in partnership with ESQESE (École Supérieure pour la Qualité, l'Environnement, la Santé et la Sécurité en Entreprise), which is a component of the Institut Catholique de Toulouse. TSM offers a 3-year course (Bachelor's degree) and, subsequently, a Master 1 and a Master 2 in QSE. These courses train future managers in Quality, Safety and Environment with a strong CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) orientation.

  • How do I access the Bachelor 3 QSE?

This is a general degree. It is only available as an apprenticeship and on a professional contract. Students generally come from a technical "DUT" in safety, hygiene or health.

In addition, all UT1 students who are in the Management or Economics course and who want to add the notion of QSE can apply.

We also have a public from the scientific streams (biology, chemistry). They will then strengthen their technical skills and prepare to add a second skill, which is management. Indeed, chemistry and biology can be useful in the agri-food sector, for example.

  • What are the strong points of this course?

The double skill! With the QSE degree, you have very strong professional skills as well as managerial skills. Dual skills are highly valued on the job market, especially as this degree is a sandwich course. This also meets a need of companies.

The second strong point of this programme is that it is offered by two institutions that are recognised in their fields of expertise. Toulouse School of Management is recognised for its management training and ESQESE is recognised for all QSE teaching from a technical point of view. There is, therefore, a strong expertise in this course.

The third strong point of the QSE course is the work on the personal development of students. There are lessons on ethics, emotional intelligence, but also on relational skills.

Finally, its fourth strong point is the presence of academics but also of professionals in the field to accompany the students.

  • What is "Boost My Training" for TSM students in QSE training?

It is a training governance committee in which there are representatives of the bachelor's degree, the master's degrees and members of the diploma management.

Within this framework, we meet with a coach to reflect on improvements to the course. The students themselves are directly involved in taking initiatives to improve the degree.

For example, they have been involved in setting up a relaxation area, creating a work space or collecting students' expectations and teachers' needs.

The BMT is very active in improving the training and involves the students as much as possible. This makes them responsible for the improvement of the course. We do quality, so it makes sense to start with the training and the diploma.

  • What are the job opportunities after a Bachelor in QSE?

We have a very high insertion rate of over 95%. After the degree, graduates either continue on to a QSE Master's degree or become QSE coordinators in a wide variety of sectors.

Many work in large international groups, particularly in the aeronautics industry. However, there are also many former students in the food industry, in the pharmaceutical industry at Pierre Fabre, at the SNCF, in hospitals, etc. They can also set up as QSE auditors and offer advice on Quality, Safety and Environment.

Graduates work in all sectors of activity and all sizes of company!
