The Pierre Fabre Chair at IAE was set up in 2002 to support academic activities of the school’s Strategy department and more specifically the DESS in International Management (that later became a Master degree). The chair’s primary objective was to forge links between industry and academia fostering exchange and dialogue :

  • between Pierre Fabre group managers and international research networks in management ;
  • between Pierre Fabre group managers and international students engaged in the Master in International Management programme at IAE through consulting projects and long term internships.
Thanks to the Pierre Fabre group Chair in Management, each year the IAE Strategy department has invited short term visiting professors from leading international academic institutions : Bocconi University , Italy ; Harvard Business School, USA ; BI-Norwegian School of Management, Oslo ; Meiji University, Japan ; University of Oxford, UK ; University of Canterbury, New-Zealand, University Pompeu Fabra, Spain ; ...

The Chair helped in the funding of research projects and academic activities. In addition, the Strategy Department has also been involved in research projects with the Pierre Fabre Group related to organisational culture, international management and  faculty members participated in training sessions within the Pierre Fabre Group.

Mr. Jean-Luc Delpous, Directeur formation groupe, represents Pierre Fabre in the MIM program steering committee.

ATR Aircraft :

Created in 1981, the European joint venture formed by Aerospatiale (now EADS) and Aeritalia (now Alenia Aermacchi, part of the Finmeccanica group) resulted in the most cost-effective family of short-haul aircraft.

The aircraft design is inspired from a high-wing, twin turboprop aircraft optimized right from the start for efficiency, operating flexibility and passenger comfort: the ATR 42 and ATR 72.
Twenty years on, ATR has become the benchmark for regional turboprop aircraft with sales exceeding 1200 aircraft, with over 180 operators in more than 90 countries. These have accumulated a total of around 19 million cycles. Today, ATR is a pioneer in the regional transport field: every twelve seconds, an ATR takes off somewhere around the world.

ATR has been a very supportive partner for the Master in International management Program over the last 10 years through visits, company projects, lectures and internships.

Mr. Mario Formica, Vice President Strategic Marketing & Airline Studies and a former Associate Professor at Toulouse University represents ATR in the MIM program steering committee.
