Transcript

A bachelor’s degree in the US, first year of a master in Europe or the equivalent diploma, representing a four-year course of study in an accredited college or university, is required for admission.

A complete master’s degree is not required, although many applicants have a master’s degree in such fields as management, economics, engineering, and statistics. Superior academic performance is expected.

You have to submit a copy of your transcripts for all college/university degrees and courses.

English test

NOTE: if you are student at Toulouse School of Management, Toulouse School of Economics or Toulouse Business School you do NOT have to provide this test.

Adequate command of spoken and written English is required for admission. All students whose native language is not English must also take one of the following English tests: TOEFL, IELTS or TOEIC (Speaking and Writing), unless you received a degree from an institution where English was the language of instruction for at least two academic years within the last five years.

Submitted scores must not be older than two years, and must be from a test taken between December 1, 2015 and December 1, 2017 for Fall 2018 enrollment.

Applicants are strongly encouraged to choose the TOEFL internet-based test when possible.

Requirements:

  • If your doctoral programme is fully taught in English: The committee prefers scores of at least 100 on the TOEFL internet-based test, equivalent C1 level.
  • If your doctoral programme is not fully taught in English: The committee prefers scores of at least B2.

Requirement:

  • If your doctoral programme (finance; international management) is fully taught in English: minimum score of C1.

  • If your doctoral programme (accounting; human resource management; marketing; strategy) is not fully taught in English: minimum score of B2.

Reference letters

NOTE: if you are student at Toulouse School of Management, Toulouse School of Economics or Toulouse Business School you do NOT have to provide these letters.

The Doctoral Programme requires two references (at least one from an academic source) who will be contacted for a recommendation. To prepare your application, you should contact professors who are in the department in which you did the major part of your study and who are well acquainted with your work to ask if they will accept to be a reference for you.

If you have had a year or more of full-time experience in research since graduation, one of the two letters may be a recommendation from a supervisor.

EasyRecrue pre-recorded video interview

Pre-recorded individual interviews via EasyRecrue are mandatory to assess your motivation and engagement, and to control your English level.

I chose the Toulouse School of Management to prepare a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance for the quality of teaching and for the city itself. After the Master, I joined the Doctoral School of Management to continue my research activities. Discussions with my professors gave me the desire to continue my studies to have a career in academia.
