TSM strives to instill a sense of integrity and responsibility that is reflected in civic values. Social challenges are integrated into the School's values and curricula through courses, projects and skills, which are also aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Sustainable Development at TSM
TSM offers activities to raise students' awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the context of their emergence, and their interconnections.
The SDGs are the highest global framework for sustainable development to date. They are used at TSM as a compelling teaching platform to begin building a common culture with students on sustainable development issues.
Activities offered to students

After completing this activity, students define and differentiate each Sustainable Development Goal.
TSM students have the opportunity to become a SDSR representative within the School. They can therefore get involved in campus life on SDRS issues or simply submit ideas!
A Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility Coordinator is available to exchange and implement all kinds of initiatives.
Since 2009, the Grenelle 1 law requires all higher education institutions to implement a Sustainable Development approach, known as a Green Plan. In addition to the environmental dimensions, the Green Plan covers the economic and societal dimensions. It thus contributes to the protection and enhancement of the environment, economic development and social progress.
Toulouse Capitole University materialised the Green Plan in a Sustainable Development Charter in 2017. TSM fully subscribes to this plan which guides its own strategic vision.
By committing to an international accreditation process... TSM aims to structure its commitment to sustainable development and social responsibility.

The School thus relies on the reference framework of the SDSR label, established jointly by the CPU and the CGE, in order to draw up a trajectory in accordance with the ministerial recommendations for the generalisation of the integration of ecological transition issues in higher education by 2025.
TSM is committed to raising awareness on green mobility, not only by encouraging the use of greener means of transport but also by motivating its students to adopt sustainable practices. This initiative is particularly materialised through the internal distribution of checklists that guide students towards responsible choices in terms of their travel and daily activities.
These efforts reflect TSM's commitment to a more sustainable future, incorporating the principles of green mobility into the students' experiences.
The growing awareness of SDSR issues allows all TSM academic departments to progressively integrate topics related to ethics, responsibility and sustainability into individual programmes and courses.

Students from L3 to M2 have courses closely related to sustainable development applied to the professional sphere, including:
Principles of CSR;
Environmental responsibility and regulation;
Waste management and disposal;
Global climate change;
Leadership for sustainable change;
Sustainable finance and CSR;
CSR and business ethics;
Environmental law;
Environmental management and energy efficiency;
Principles of professional ethics.
Through pedagogical practices integrated into the programmes:
Collective intelligence workshops such as the Climate Fresco, the Biodiversity Fresco or the CSR Fresco;
The use of the Sulitest to position one's knowledge in sustainable development;
conferences on "Solutions to climate change" by Time for the Planet or "Diversity: a source of corporate performance" with Airbus;
The International Days: 2 days of conferences with a summary project in video format; since 2021, the content of the International Days is entirely dedicated to CSR and to a more global reflection on ethics in the business world.

TSM Research regularly focuses on ethics, accountability and sustainability.
Topics include environmental accounting, money laundering and corruption (Accounting research area), corporate governance, financial stability and sustainable finance (Finance research area), ethics, welfare, justice, discrimination, corporate social responsibility and change management (Human Resource Management research area), and sustainable innovation, the sharing and collaborative economy (Strategy research area).
The academic commitment to addressing sustainability and social responsibility in relation to management is highlighted by the significant publications of TSM faculty and researchers.
TSM contributes to facilitating the engagement of its external stakeholders (alumni, companies, community, territory) in sustainable development and social responsibility. This is done by organising awareness-raising activities, participating in international research programmes, professional conferences and supporting and taking part in partnership projects.
The School also offers and participates in a programme of professional conferences to raise awareness of SDSR issues beyond its immediate influence:
Airbus St Eloi conference on diversity as a source of performance;
Participation in the international CSR congress in partnership with the Oïkos foundation;
Participation in Act for Climate.
TSM also develops and supports partnership projects that promote access to and dissemination of SDSR knowledge to stakeholders:
Operation 'Bien Manger Pour Tous' in cooperation with the Occitanie region;
Support to the TSM-Consulting Junior Enterprise and the TSM Student Association in the organisation of events and actions.
TSM's concrete actions in favour of the environment
TSM is committed on a daily basis, alongside the Toulouse Capitole University, to Sustainable Development and Social Responsibility (SDSR) in terms of energy saving policies, paper consumption, waste management and attention to biodiversity.
The School actively contributes to a policy of reducing greenhouse gas emissions through:
Compliance with the sobriety plan;
The energy audit and renovation plan;
Encouraging the use of sustainable modes of transport.
Sustainable use and reduction of resource consumption (operational practices) is encouraged through:
Sorting and recycling of paper and cardboard;
The printing policy;
Awareness of eco-gestures.
Finally, TSM is developing a policy of prevention, awareness and reduction of environmental damage through events throughout the year:
Zero waste awareness;
Clean walk (walk for cleanliness);
Gratiferia (free sale).
TSM's social policy
Actions in favour of diversity, gender equality and the inclusion of people with disabilities among staff and students are implemented at Toulouse School of Management.
University Equality Mission
The Equality Mission works to prevent and raise awareness of sexist, homophobic and transphobic violence.
To this end, a system for reporting acts of violence, discrimination, moral or sexual harassment and sexist behaviour has been created at the university. The purpose of the system is to collect, in a confidential and neutral framework, reports of:
Acts of violence;
Discrimination;
Moral or sexual harassment;
Sexist behaviour.
The Equality Mission listens to and guides complainants and witnesses in their efforts and, if necessary, alerts the competent authorities.

The University of Toulouse Capitole's policy of supporting students with disabilities is carried out in cooperation with the Toulouse School of Management.

PRME Charter
TSM signed the PRME Charter in 2017 and is also a signatory to the UN Global Compact, reflecting the School's support for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The School is committed to line up its core functions and programmes with the PRME principles. All of TSM's communications are in line with the PRME charter, in order to promote sustainable values and encourage its stakeholders to make continuous progress on SDSR.
